Building stewardship for native trout — one classroom at a time.

Trout Adventures is a nonprofit based in Minden, Nevada. We work with teachers, students, volunteers, and conservation partners to provide hands-on education focused on native trout and the waters they depend on.

We offer educational programs that inspire individuals of all ages to become advocates for native wildlife, especially trout, and their habitats. Trout Adventures offers a suite of programs designed to connect students and communities with wildlife － from classroom-based learning to community outreach presentations. Learn how Trout in the Classroom brings hands-on watershed education to Nevada schools, how Discover Wild Nevada teaches 4th-graders about Nevada’s wildlife symbols, and how Youth Wildlife Experiences connects youth with natural habitats.
