Trout Adventures works with teachers, students, volunteers, and conservation partners to provide hands-on wildlife and conservation education focused on native trout and the ecosystems that sustain them. Our programs help students understand watershed ecology, conservation, and the importance of protecting Nevada’s wildlife and natural environments.
We offer educational programs that connect students and communities with wildlife — from classroom-based learning to community outreach and field experiences. Trout in the Classroom brings hands-on watershed education to Nevada schools. Discover Wild Nevada teaches 4th-graders about Nevada’s wildlife symbols. Youth Wildlife Experiences connects young people with wildlife and the landscapes where they live.
Trout Adventures is a nonprofit organization based in Minden, Nevada, serving rural communities in the Carson River and Walker River watersheds and surrounding areas of Western Nevada.
