Educational Programs

We are involved in a number of educational programs that connect communities with wildlife. For more information about these programs, please reach out to us at info@TroutAdventures.org.

• Discover Wild Nevada－ educates students on wildlife symbols of the State of Nevada

• Trout in the Classroom －  connects students with their watershed

• Youth Wildlife Experiences － inspiring youth to learn more about fish and wildlife

We also offer:

• Community Outreach & Education － presentations and activities to promote knowledge-based stewardship of native wildlife, particularly trout, and their habitats.

Volunteering 

We generally require volunteers for these programs become certified NDOW Volunteer Outdoor Education Instructors. If not already one, you can start the process by applying at NDOW. In completing your application, please be sure to express your interest in fishing education and/or wildlife education within the Western Region.
